It's been really cool seeing the SCX livery out in the virtual world. All of these screenshots have been shared by SCX pilots through their FSHub Pilot Reports.

While organising my Steam Library recently I thought 'what a good way to showcase the wide range of software that we use'. This is just a sample of the sims in my library which could be used here at Southern Charter, and as with everything here, it is limited only by your imagination!
In the past month SCX has flown to 41 different countries (Albania, Algeria, Angola, Anguilla, Antarctica, Argentina, Australia, Bermuda,Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Chile, Cook Islands, Ecuador, French Guiana, Greece, Guyana, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Laos, Libya, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, New Zealand, Niger, Norway, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Suriname, Turks And Caicos Islands, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and The United States), over 300 flights for 150,000 nautical miles by 12 pilots.
Here's a small gallery of the last months flying

Fresh out of the paint shop is the new King Air 350 for MSFS. This paint has been added to the [SCX] Central Livery Repository
Using a script, from a number of sources and some clever Text-To-Speech tools we now have a 'Generic' AI voiced sound package for LRM's Cabin Manager

Our sound package covers all of the 'normal' cabin calls, used in a regular flight. There will be a tutorial coming soon on how to enable and use AeroPad and Cabin Manager.
For instructions on how to enable the AeroPad, check out this entry on the FSHub Wiki.

Southern Charter joined the FSHub world in December 2021, and in the subsequent 3 years have turned over 10,000 flights, 7,000 hours, and over 3 million miles. This is a pretty amazing achievement for our relatively small airline, and a credit to the dedication and hard work of all of our pilots.
Airline stats as of September 8th 2024. |
Thanks to the great work of Jacob we now have a far bigger range of charters available for pilots. These charters cover a great range of mission types, from medical transfers to moving jets around for maintenance.
Each of these charters have their own back story, which adds a whole new dimension to these flights. Check this example of a charter being flown as I write this:

SCX Tactical doing a little training in the A-3 Skywarrior, beter known in Navy service as the 'Whale'. The A-3 started life as a carrier-borne bomber, but later served as an electronic 'agressor' over electronic warefare ranges, as well as playing the bad-guy at exercises like Red Flag. SCX Tactical intendes using the A-3 as a contract bad guy for Contract "Red Air'.
